Week 6, Part I

Jeffrey Michael Harp is more of an amazing photo-shopper than a photographer. “Victorian Surrealism” is the name of this particular series. After finding vintage photographs in old albums and public libraries, Harp digitally modifies the images to create surrealistic worlds of his own. Whether it’s sketching in an entirely new character or removing most of an individual, his work is truly the mark of a great digital artist. These pictures were the least creepy ones I could find, but I definitely recommend looking up the other pieces in the series if you want a real scare!
