I learned about Edward Burtynsky from my dad who has his book: Burtynsky- China. Edward Burtynsky is known for his landscape/construction/industry/organization/pattern work. As you can see from the work I've selected above, his photos are very organized and you can see everything that is going on. I find in the construction photo as well as the photo with the highway, that it looks like madness but it's actually really organized.
He shoots with a large format field camera on large 4x5-inch sheet film and developed
into high-resolution, large-dimension prints (of approximately 50x60
inches). He often positions himself to get a high-vantage over the
landscape using elevated platforms, the natural topography, and on
occasion helicopters.
