Discovering this artist was great because as it turns out, I already had some of his work and didn't even know it. However, after seeing the diversity of Emek Golan's portfolio it is incredibly satisfying and inspirational. He has been coined the "King of Poster Art" and is an extremely influential and popular contemporary artist. He has pioneered a different connection between music and visual art, as his work clientele is nothing less than impressive. Emek has also done movie posters. Emek's compositions pull you in with their color and intrigue. He has a very graphic style, and all of his work is eye-catching. This was a great find and I have the book share to thank for it.
