This is the photographer that is going to be speaking at our school tomorrow. I saw this set of photographs a year or two ago and fell in love. It is an extremely moving story. You can get a sense of the feelings going on in each photograph and the words help make it even stronger. I feel like the set would be strong without the description but it is definitely helped make me understand the work as a whole. I love how the set goes through various different emotions of his father. To his horrified face looking in the mirror to him smiling with two cookies on his chest. The photographs of his fathers writing helps make the set stronger as well. It is just beautiful and I can not wait to hear him speak
