Eric Cahan: Sky Series

Eric Cahan is someone who's work I just started looking at. I really love this series of photographs of skies. For each photo he includes the location and time shot, looking at these it really gives you an idea of the different types of light all over the world and how color is effected by this. The tonality and use of color are really amazing and beautiful, they are so painterly and soft looking. Each one does a great job of evoking a really strong mood and I also really love his choice to exclude the details of horizon or clouds in some of them, giving them a more abstract feel.
