I decided to look up an article about the show we saw at the Eastman House, The Unseen Eye, to get some of the photographer's names from the exhibit. I came across Mitch Epstein, who is a photographer in NYC and his work has been exhibited in numerous museums. He has some really great series including, "American Power," which documents energy production sites in the U.S. Here are some of my favorites from that series. I have always been interested in the topic of energy production and consumption in our country and I love the way he has chosen to photograph the topic.
