Lee Jefferies - Madeline

This portrait series by Lee Jefferies focuses on homeless people all around the world. Jefferies uses a very shallow depth of field that zeros in directly on the eyes to create a chilling feeling that the subject is somehow seeing into you through the picture. The pictures are a superb black and white that look like silver prints, and show the dirt and wrinkles of these peoples' lives. I personally would love to know how to use black and white photography in this way. To see more, go to http://www.paranoias.org/2011/07/lee-jeffries-photography/
