William Scott is a photographer from Northern California. His images are about searching for things both internally and externally. What I really like about his images are that they feel very mysterious. Something that he does extremely well that I think is relevant to our class is composition. We have discussed how composing an image well is something that sets us as photographers apart from the average person. He also uses negative space very well to add to his compositions and make them more interesting. I think the most important thing anyone can learn from William as a photographer is that it really pays off to compose your images well.
