Week 2, Part I

Red De Leon’s fashion photographs are extremely inspiring for our upcoming studio adventures! I love the seemingly effortless motion he captures in each shot, and the relationship between models (if their happens to be more than on in a given shot.) Though he is a contemporary photographer, his work often gives off a retro-look, mostly because of the geometric shapes and lines throughout the series. Whether the clothes are creating that blocky feel or the poses of the body, I love the meticulous nature of the photos. They all feel very still and robotic, though we know the models are in motion.
