A Place Called Home- kelly

National Geographic had a story about how cities are trying to become more efficient to the world even though cities can cause pollution, crime ect. One positive that is mentioned is the small area of space cities have people live which allow more room for country and land. These photos are an example of this. These photos by
Yeondoo Jung are of these 150 identical square foot areas in these 25 stories apartment buildings in South Korea. This allows more space for people to live. It documents the individualism of the families. Even though these rooms are exactly the same, the families make them unique and their own. This strongly brought me to Emily Barresi's final project of the rooms and room mates.
